For AutoAlert calls: in the case of a fall detected signal with no verbal response from the subscriber on multiple attempts, our response centre staff may contact EMS for response.

Connect Care plan will be incorporated into clients care package and come with no extra cost other than the one off set up fees and there are no ongoing costs. If taken alone, the cost of the Connect Care Plan is straight forward and predictable. There are no hidden fees. There are also no surprise “over charges” associated with exceeding any calling limits since there are no limits!

Locating technologies

If your responders can’t find you, they can’t help you.While GPS excels outdoors, it may struggle to determine your location when indoors or in urban areas. We test the systems thoroughly for connectivity and may recommend GPS combined with additional technologies to help determine your location in an emergency. Together, this suite of capabilities helps the response centre to quickly identify your location 5 , indoors or out, and send your chosen responders to your location to assist you.


Connect Care plans

TAUS Care Connect Care plan comes with our care package for clients who use 20+ hours of our service at no ongoing extra cost to client. There will be one off setup fee to cover the installation cost. Connect Care plan is the added benefit for our clients and gives them the confidence and reassurance that they can get connected to a trained response associate/nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Connect Care 24HR plan can be bought from us separately. We can work with you to access your needs and suggest products that may suit your requirements.

Policies and procedures

All policies and procedures are documented within our Quality Management System (QMS) and reflect our commitment to best practice. The procedures are regularly updated in response to the needs of our client groups and staff. Our technology partner Customer Care Consultants work closely with the staff and volunteers of TAUS Care to ensure we meet the standards and requirements for providing the best quality client service.

All requests for feedback are dealt with in a timely and professional manner and are documented within the QMS for tracking and clients have the assurance of knowing that all contact and interaction with the individual client and their alarm is logged and recorded and that we can respond accurately to any complaints or requests for clarification.

Privacy, confidentiality and security

TAUS Care ensures the full confidentiality of all client details and records due to the sensitivity of the information collected in the course of delivery of emergency services. All staff and contractors are required to have undergone a criminal records check prior to their employment with TAUS Care. These are tracked to ensure that they are in place throughout the employment term.
